She was smitten with alpacas at first sight, Her dedicated years as administrator, and now training director, for a private facility, Starr Commonwealth, has certainly prepared her for dealing with all manner of alpacas and alpaca crazed people!
Shirley Knaack (right) just THOUGHT she had retired! Her brilliant career as a Home-Ec teacher wonderfully prepared her for the fabulous world of alpaca fiber and all it involves.
Encore Alpacas is dedicated to producing the finest alpacas, with the finest fiber possible. Period. Now, that might sound like a mighty tough row to hoe, but it is a row that has been taken to heart here at Encore.
By working with established farms, such as Avalon Farm Alpacas and Spirit Within Alpacas, we have taken steps to establish ourselves as serious alpacas breeders, in it for the long haul.
